I’m Lisa Pouleau, founder of LP Dsign and an interior designer & decorator based in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, a few minutes from Cannes. I design, decorate and renovate apartments and villas across the French Riviera — Cannes, Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Antibes, Mougins, Grasse and the surrounding hills — for local homeowners and, very often, for owners who live abroad.

How much does a renovation cost on the Riviera?
Every project is different, but these indicative ranges for the Alpes-Maritimes will help you frame your budget. They cover the works themselves, excluding design fees, which I quote after our first meeting. My detailed fee page is available in French: interior design fees.
Refresh
€300 – 600 / m²
Paint, flooring, lighting and decoration to revive a tired apartment between two seasons.
Mid-range renovation
€600 – 1,200 / m²
New kitchen or bathrooms, partial rewiring, reworked partitions and upgraded finishes.
Full renovation
€1,200 – 2,500 / m²
Complete restructuring of the property, all trades, premium finishes throughout.

Questions from international owners
Do you work with non-resident and international owners?+
Yes — this is at the heart of what I do. Many of my clients own a second home on the French Riviera and live in the UK, Northern Europe or the United States. I act as your single point of contact in France: design, quotes, craftsmen, deliveries and final styling are all handled on site, while we communicate by email and video call, in English.
What areas do you cover on the French Riviera?+
I am based in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, a few minutes from Cannes, and work throughout the western Riviera: Cannes, Le Cannet, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, Mougins, Grasse, Théoule-sur-Mer and Valbonne, and as far as Nice on request.
How do you keep me updated while I’m away?+
Before the works start, 3D renderings of every room let you validate layouts, materials and colours remotely. During the works, you receive regular photo and video reports at each key stage, and we schedule video calls whenever a decision is needed, so your project moves forward even when you are not in France.
Is the first consultation free?+
Yes. The first consultation is free and without obligation, either at your property on the Riviera or by video call if you are abroad. We discuss your project, your budget and your schedule, and I then send you a detailed, personalised proposal.
How much should I budget for a renovation near Cannes?+
As an indicative guide for the Alpes-Maritimes: €300 – 600 per m² for a refresh (paint, flooring, decoration), €600 – 1,200 per m² for a mid-range renovation (kitchen, bathrooms, partial rewiring) and €1,200 – 2,500 per m² for a full renovation. Design fees are quoted separately after the first consultation.
